Kapampangan Desserts with Chef Sau Del Rosario at Diamond Hotel

Diamond Hotel Philippines celebrates a grand Filipino Food Festival called Culinaria Capampangan this May at Corniche Cafe. Prepared by renowned celebrity Chef Sau Del Rosario of Villa Cafe, it promises the best of Pampanga which is known as the 'culinary capital of the Philippines.'

Spearheaded by Chef Sau Del Rosario, the Corniche lunch and dinner buffet from May 10 to 19 was infused with local dishes from Pampanga creatively prepared with a contemporary flair. The buffet will boast of innovative and masterfully created Capampangan fares such as Lamb Chops Ratatouille in Kaldereta Sauce; US Beef Rib-Eye and Portobello Confits in Bistek Sauce; Gule Marangle (Pinakbet with Tuyo Flakes); and Crispy Pata Kare-Kare with Farm Vegetables and Bagoong, among others

Although not hailing from Pampanga, we were not able to resist the Corniche's ice cream station and got a scoop each of Gen Maicha Ice Cream, Banana and Palm Sugar Ice Cream, and the famous Sesame Ice Cream, among other flavors.

To add more excitement, guests availing of the buffet will get a chance to win roundtrip airline tickets for two to Bohol with accommodations! The Culinaria Capampangan food festival is in partnership with Philippine Airlines, Crossover 105.1 and Avis Rent-A-Car.
